    We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in February.

    The room was un cleaned when we arrived. It was tired and in need of a refurb. The bathroom was grubby and the shower dripped constantly. One of the taps had come off the wall. The room facilities were less than adequate

    Conveniently situated. Staff and service very good/ very efficient. Public areas were comfortable

    Thought the room itself was tired and in need of refurbishment. Furniture was chipped, drawers constantly sliding open. Toilet holder broken and not replaced. Window only a few feet away from another window facing and so not able to have curtains open. Lighting in room itself was poor-found it difficult to read. Very little pressure in shower-struggeld to get wet! Hotel appeal would be to those who enjoy period furniture etc.so recommendations would be specific to particular clientelle.

    We had a very good weekend staff very helpful great service .

    We had a rear/side room (511 ) this was a little tired yellow paint stains on carpet we said it was a good job room was not on "Four in a bed" but a nice stay !
